Surf H2ML
Highly retro point and click action - not for the faint hearted.
Click on the board sections to go left and right along the wave - you'll get the hang of it eventually.
Rating: 1/5 - ZX81 users will be amazed.

Surf H2O from the makers of Surf H2ML comes Surf H20, a little more playable this one, just hold down the mouse button to surf up the wave and try to stay ahead of the barrel. You can tweak the speed for your computer too.

Aussie Surf Classic
Use your mouse to control your surfer and bust as many airs as you can, whilst avoiding the kooks and gulls.
Rating: 3/5 Easy to play with nice sounds.

 

RipCurl Cyber Pro
Use the keyboard to do turns and get inside the barrel to score points.
Rating: 2/5 Slow and boring once you have mastered the simple turn.

Surf Point Blue
Arcade style classic game. Try to stay on the wave and collect smileys. Comes with a bonus hula girl to congratulate you and online scores.
Rating: 3/5 Manic sounds and challenge make this an exciting game.

Sam's Surfing Game
Exactly like Aussie Surf Classic, but not as good, avoid the swimmers and other stuff, collect the strange floating things.
Rating: 1/5 No sound and poor response - Aussie Surf Classic is better

Surf's Up
Nice graphics and a few more tricks give this game the edge over some of the others. The controls work too!
Rating: 3.5/5 - Surf in style...

 

 

Mad Shark
Okay, it's not a surfing game, but this is worth including for it's sinister nature. You are the shark and you are mad. Eat things!
Rating: 2/5 - Not enough variety in the sharks diet.

Switch Wakeboarding
Not strictly a surfing game, but well worth including here as it is well worth having a go. You will need a decent internet connection, but the 3D graphics are wicked and the game plays really well.
5/5 - High quality and Free!

Max Altitude Snowboarding
Another non-surfing contender - for those flat days. Easy to play and gain points by pulling off big airs and tricks as you carve down the slopes.
4.5/5 - Wicked but no barrels.

Ride The Wild Surf
A slightly amusing game where you have to collect or dodge the flying objects.
2/5 - boring after a few goes.

 

Swell - Flash Surf Simulator
Face on surf game where you have to stay on the wave and in the tube. Graphics are okay, but "Surf's Up" has the edge with graphics and control.
2/5 - Frustrating controls.

Bogan Surf
A bit like "Swell", but less sedate and with points for airs. Takes a bit of getting used to the keys, but has an addictive quality.
3/5 - Playable, but limited moves.

 

Sewer Surf
Bizarre game where are a rat and you have to surf through the sewer collecting sweeties and avoiding turds. Brings back bad memories of Newquay in the summer.
3/5 - Too close to the truth for comfort.

Wipeout!
Carve up the wave, ride the tube and perform radical maneuvers with this big wave surfing game. Sounds good? give it a try. 3/5 Good graphics, game play?
